8/23  FEAST IN THE VIAGRA TRIANGLE @ The 3rd Annual Taste of Gold Coast at Sutton Place Hotel from 6 – 9 pm. Food from 13 Gold Coast restaurants might blow you minds folks. Hit it. Eateries such as Carmine’s, Il Mulino, Chicago Q, and Devon Seafood Grill will be serving scrumptious goodness. Absorb the live entertainment and spend a little dough.. silent auction to benefit the North Dearborn Association. Tickets are available online for $100. 21 E. Bellevue Pl.

8/24  Timothy O’Toole’s Pub hosts Comedians You Should Know –> Wednesday evenings at 9 pm. Seen the hilarity yet?  One of these 6 hotties cast hosts a stand-up special with five local comedians. Bring the wit. Tickets are $5 online and $10 at the door. 622 N. Fairbanks Ct.


8/25  TRIPLE TEAM? We love. Three Aces, MAN B QUE, and New Holland Brewery teamed up for a burger and beer pairing. For $25, take down the Anarchy Burger + swallow the Chooch Brew.  Three Aces and MAN B QUE travelled to Holland, MI (no no no, not Holland) to create this beer.  We hope the burger is as tasty as it sounds –> pretzel bun, sautéed mushrooms, pickled fennel, wild boar bacon, grilled romaine, smoked tomatoes, grilled fresno chili aioli, and pickled red onion. Quite the mouthful. 1321 W. Taylor Street.

8/26  Eat. Drink. Tattoo. Celebrate Marigold Restaurant’s 5th Anniversary at their Indian Bazaar from 5 – 11 pm. Eat at Indian street food stalls, sip creations from Bar Bazaar, and decorate yourself with henna tattoos. Advanced tickets are available which will be “Marigold Rupees” and will allow you to purchase items at the bazaar through the evening. The smallest denomination of tickets for purchase is $6.17 (includes the service charge) and are available for purchase online.

8/27  Miss college? Not so much. But we LOVE participating in the Chicago Big Ten Alumni Challenge because 100% of the proceeds go Chicago Public Schools.  Take the Challenge and suck down cocktails.  It is a bar crawl after all…at 12 different bars in River North -Rockit, Theory, Public House, Bull & Bear, English, LaSalle Power Co, Moe’s Cantina, Howl at the Moon, Fado, Blue Frog’s Local 22 and District.  Help raise $50,000 + grab your friends. #NothingWrong with pretending like it’s just a college football Saturday.
