Dale Levitski’s food is sure to satiate as it’s looking trés magnifique: croque monsieur with two-year-aged white cheddar and rosemary ham; white anchovy crostini; bibb lettuce salad with pickled peaches, grilled NY strip carpaccio salad; open-faced turkey and pastrami sandwich with horseradish, beet slaw, sunny side egg and apple; steak frites; chicken kiev and more. Dale Levitski’s new hotspot bistro / coffee shop in Lakeview will also be launching a bakery inside within the weeks to come filled with housemade baked goods and La Colombe coffee. Chef Jackie Shen Heading to Argent in Dana Hotel - Below

Jackie Shen

Earlier we brought you the sad news that the lovely Chef Jackie Shen was out at one of our faves, Chicago Cut Steakhouse.  We’re pleased to announce that Chef Shen was named executive chef at the up and coming Argent restaurant inside the Dana Hotel – which is set to open May 1. Argent is headed by Culinary Director  and hottie we dig, Rodelio Aglibot, Executive Chef Jackie Shen and Toni Motamen. What to watch for: The word ‘Argent’ means silver, and the upcoming restaurant will focus on the industry and construction of Chicago in the 19th century, also playing with the concept of “comfort chic.” BONUS DIRT: Argent is looking to have “the best scrambled egg in Chicago” – must try.
