When food, music, and charity come together in one event, it’s a killer combo you absolutely cannot miss. This Saturday, April 14,sweet spot, Beat Kitchen, is hosting Chicago HOPES Bright Lights for Bright Kids IV event benefiting after-school programs for children living in homeless shelters. The show will feature music from local Chicago talent: Minor Characters, Debello, and Dead Sheriff (Dead Sheriff is absolutely incredible, New Americana Garage Rock -> check ‘em out). Come play, eat and dance. Have you tried Beat Kitchen’s spicy Thai chicken pizza?? A must. Enjoy music + food for a great cause! Tickets are $8 in advance, $12 at the door, and you can also get the VIP ticket package for $35. The coolest thing about The Munchies? YOU get to vote! Voting has launched and is open to the public until April 30 while the winners will be announced in early May.
