Robinson's Dry Rubs @ Taste 2011

We’ve got fresh Taste of Chicago news – the music lineup (headliners) has been announced. And kicking off the music on Wednesday, July 11th is Chicago’s own Jennifer Hudson. Alt-rockers Death Cab for Cutie on Thursday, July 12th, legendary soul sister Chaka Khan on Saturday, July 14th, and country crooner Dierks Bentley on Sunday, July 15th. We’re still waiting on the headliner for Friday, July 13th to be announced, so look forward to more Taste news coming up. If you haven’t heard already, these concerts will be the first paid shows in Taste of Chicago history, costing $25 a ticket for seats in the Petrillo Music Shell, but to sit on the lawn area outside of the pavilion, admission is free. (Also – remember that the Taste this year will not be running its usual early July and July 4th schedule, but rather moved to mid-July in an effort to save some $$.) We’ll keep you posted on all the Taste of Chicago music news, as well as the good eats they’ve got in store. [Chicago Tribune]
