Chicago Classic, Ann Sather’s, Heading to Broadway / Granville

Ann Sather

Chicago veteran Ann Sather has been warming up our insides with amazing creations for over 65 years (gotta love those gooey, luscious cinnamon rolls), but this Swedish breakfast hotspot will be expanding! In the coming weeks, watch for the fifth Ann Sather location to be opening up at Broadway and Granville, at the old Bananas Foster Café that closed abruptly to the shock of it’s local following. We gotta know: What’s your favorite Ann Sather treat? [Eater]

Caffe De Luca Facebook.

If you’re a friend of Caffe De Luca on Facebook, you heard Caffe De Luca will be closing it’s doors at the end of May / June. This Bucktown treasure was sold after serving it up for about 13 years –> the best coffee and eats in the neighborhood. The comfy home-like Italian spot will be replaced by a new type of steakhouse, Grass Fed, which will focus on sourcing and serving organic and sustainable meats. 1721 N. Damen.
