One thing we KNOW for sure, we expect juicy burgers. We’ve got Duchamp updates. Knockout hottie restauranteur and friend we loveJason Freiman, is not involved in the new resto coming into the old Duchamp space, but Chef Troy Graves will be opening Red Door on May 3. Graves, partners Christopher Peckat + Fei Tang will feature globally-inspired pub fare. Also look for an equally great bar and resto. [Eater]

Beer + Wine To Starbucks in Chicago

In case you missed it, our green tea GO TO, Starbucks is introducing beer and wine to three Chicago joints…One is our old go to at Diversey and Sheffield. Along with this Lakeview location, Burr Ridge and Schaumburg are also going through the licensing process. Expect to see (and sip) local tastes shaped to fit customer cravings. Also watch for small plates, snack items like cheeses, charcuterie, and flatbreads. Are you looking forward to the new variety of drinks at Starbucks? [Eater]

Retractable Roof At Wit Hotel Opens May 9

One of the hottest rooftops in Chicago, Roof on the Wit, debuts their year-round retractable roof on May 9. This glass structure will allow for even later nights at the Wit and will house a 12 foot wide HDTV display. Perfect for our ever-changing Chicago weather. [Eater]
