JOIN US: Danny will be in Chicago 12/17, 12-2pm to celebrate the release of his book at Foodease Market. We’d love to have you come by, meet him, eat tasty gluten free cookies, hear about the book, the story of his business and a have a whole lot of fun.

Danny Cohen, founder of the widely successful artisanal macaroonery, Danny Macaroons, has stolen the hearts of people across the country with deliciously light and fluffy coconut cookies in flavors such as hibiscus, s’mores, salted caramel, maple pecan pie and more.  Just this week, Food & Wine named the macaroons “Best Store Bought Cookie” and O Magazine lists them as their favorite, “Easy Cookie Recipes”.

Danny won NYC’s Smorgasburg’s People’s Choice Award and attracted the praise of big names such as Danny Meyer, Martha Stewart, Art Smith, Padma Lakshmi and many others. His cookies are sold all over NYC and Chicago, from Bergdorf Goodman to The Whitney Museum, La Colombe, Goddess & Grocer, Southport Grocer, Lincoln Park Zoo, Belly Q, East Bank Club, Foodease Market and more. They are a true testament to how addictively delicious macaroons from Danny Macaroons are.

Danny, his cookbook, and the evolution of his business encompass an awesome and rather rare story. Wonderfully, this tale is filled with scrumptious food recipes, a unique business launch (from media to macaroons) and delightful gluten free cookies that people can’t get enough of…chocolate stout, spiced pumpkin, bourbon, salted caramel, jam-filled and more.  Danny has been featured in  Food & WineOprah Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Grub Street, ABC, DNA Info, Daily Candy, Eater, CrainsABC News and more.

Food Film Fest Event 6/9 @ The Glass House

This is a one in a lifetime opportunity that you cannot miss. Join us on June 9 for an unbelievable evening of the perfect pairing of food, film, and modern design. This event will be held at the Phillip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. Built in 1949 as Phillip Johnson’s own residence, it is regarded as a masterpiece in the use of glass, but also extremely important and influential in modern architecture. Like all Food Film Fest events (incredible, duh), you will be treated to some of the most intriguing and relevant food films accompanied by epicurean delights. This time you will also have access to the exquisite 47-acre campus of the Glass House. Starting with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Artisan Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer, then onto the film program presented by Festival Director George Motz, this Dine With Design event will be sure to spark your fire. Watch eight short films and eat what you see as seven of them will be including food pairings. Best of all, proceeds will directly benefit the Phillip Johnson Glass House, (a site of The National Trust for Historic Preservation). The New York Times even covered this event, so you know it’s a big deal. Read up on it here. Most importantly, get more information and purchase tickets by clicking here. See you on June 9.
