Both the Mafia and Elevate Your Presence congratulate award winners. 3 stars (highest honors) went to Grant Achatz‘s Alinea and L20, 2 stars to Trotter’s, Avenues and Ria, while 1 star went to Chef Rick Bayless‘s Topolobampo (an Obama favorite) and Boka Grp‘s Boka among many more.

See full list of restaurants and their rating below.

Taken from Crain’s Chicago Business- “Nabbing a three-star rating, the highest awarded by Michelin, is a tough feat as only 93 other restaurants in the world have been able to accomplish it. Five New York and two San Francisco restaurants earned a three-star rating in the 2011 guides. Chicago is the third North American city to be covered annually by the Michelin Guides. New York was the first in 2005.”
